Registration should be completed on a computer, not a mobile device or tablet.

The first page you will be directed to during the Registration Process will be a field to enter your (the parent/guardian) email address. This email address must be the email address for parent/guardian of the child being registered.

The next page will prompt you for your (parent/guardian) name. Enter your name here, not the campers name.

Since you are registering your child for an event, you will need to add someone else to your registration, select the Add Someone Else button.

In order to register someone else, you may need to complete a verification process. To complete the verification process, just select Click Here to Receive a Verification Email. That will send you a quick email to the email address you entered in the beginning of the registration process with a link to continue. That link will bring you right back to the registration page so you can continue the registration process.

Once you select the link in the email you were sent, you will be directed back to the registration page.

Once you have competed registering your child, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, your registration is not complete.

Arts Camp is a ministry of Oak Hills Church for children entering grades 1-6 in the 2018 school year. This year's camp is held on June 25-29th from 8:30 am-12 pm (no lunch), concluding with a Showcase of the Arts at 7 pm on Friday evening. The cost is $95 per child; limited scholarships are available.

Detectives of energy, movement, and fun, look no further! Students in the Dance Track will develop basic coordination and flexibility, learn basic dance vocabulary, learn and apply dance warm-up and across the floor progressions, be introduced to various dance techniques and styles, and learn/perform a finished dance for the Friday night Showcase. They’ll also discover how God created our bodies for movement and learn what it means to dance for and with God.

Grades 1 & 2 – Hip Hop Baby!: Young detectives of fun, boys and girls, who can’t be still, check out this class which combines high energy fun, rhythm, upbeat music, and street-style movement, encouraging young movers to step outside the box and bring their individual style and personality center stage.

Grades 3 & 4 - Just Dance!: Follow the spotlight and discover the excitement of dance. This class combines dance techniques from jazz, ballet, and modern dance, to create a Showcase number that will shine!! Ready, set, dance!

ALL NEW! Grades 5 & 6 – “Stepping” Up to Hip Hop: Looking to “get down”? Stepping is a form of percussive dance in which you use the entire body as an instrument to produce rhythms and sounds through a mixture of footsteps, spoken word, and hand claps. We will use Stepping mixed with Hip Hop to perform a high energy, fun dance number. Boys will love this class too!!

Materials: Depending on the class, different types of dance shoes may be suggested, but if they cannot be purchased, socks are preferred to tennis shoes or bare feet. Shoe details will be provided upon registration. Clothes should be comfortable but form fitting. This allows the teacher to be able to see what the child’s body is doing during movement. No bare midriffs please. Long hair should be pulled up or back.


Follow your Sherlock nose to this high-energy track which introduces students to the basics of theatre. Theatre detectives will use their imaginations and senses while developing their God-given talent to communicate with an audience. Most classes include emotional, facial, and body expression, character development, basic stage movement, common stage terms, vocal control skills. Explore God and how He can use your creative talents to glorify Him both on the stage and behind the scenes.

ALL NEW! Grades 1 & 2 - Under the Big Top - Creative Play & Movement: Discover immersion into theater with a circus flare! Little actors/explorers will discover how to use their bodies, voices, and non-verbal cues to act out fun scenes, express themselves through singing, hilarious theater games and charades, and even a little clowning. Juggling, hula hoop, balloon sculpting, and ribbon dancing will all be taught throughout the week. Laughter is guaranteed!

Grades 3 & 4 – The Actor’s Workshop: What do detectives and actors have in common? The Actor’s Workshop! Young actors will be encouraged to use their imaginations as they explore different characters, expand their senses while working with others, and grow their characters by asking Who, What, When, Where and How. All while having the most fun possible!

ALL NEW! Grades 5 & 6 – Theatre, Behind the Curtain: Theatre is one thing, but have you ever wondered what’s behind the scenes? Young theatre techs will discover the joys of set design, lights and sound, painting/construction of set pieces, and stage make-up. This is a hands-on class with all of these experiences leading up to the class contributing to the showcase on Friday night.

Grades 5 & 6 – The Puppet’s Playhouse: If Sherlock Holmes, Dick Tracy, and Batman were puppets, this is where they’d live. In this class, explore the art of puppetry, from creating puppets to bringing them to life. This class has limited slots available, so for lots of hands on fun, sign up early.

Materials: Students may be asked to bring items from home for class exercise. If so, these will be items commonly found in most homes and should not be purchased. Nothing extra will be needed on the first day.


Detectives of Sound unite! In this exciting track, students will discover God’s world is filled with sound and they can be a part of the music making. The week of music experience will climax in a musical performance at the Friday night Showcase, but their adventure of creating music can go on for a lifetime.

Grades 1 & 2 & 3 – Keep the Beat (Percussion): Detectives of Sound, follow the beat to discover how rhythm and percussion are fundamental and oh so fun! This class is hands-on all the way. If you like to make passionate noise, you are home! Plus you’ll show-off your rhythmic noise at Friday night’s Showcase.

Grades 4 & 5 & 6 – Rockin’ Your Voice: Every detective needs a few tools, and for this happy group, your voice will carry the day. Discover not only the basics of music and singing, but how fun it is to belt out a tune when you sing with passion. The Greatest Showman (or woman) has nothing on you! Friday night’s Showcase is the perfect spot to strut your stuff.

Through a variety of art mediums, student visual art detectives enter the world of Visual Arts exploring, experimenting, and creating one-of-a-kind treasures. They will discover the creative genius of God and our natural ability to create because we are made in His image.

Grades 1 & 2 – Art Detectives: Attention, young detectives! Together we’ll follow the clues of color, line, shape, pattern, and texture, discovering master artists of the past and techniques to create our own unique masterpieces.

Grades 3 & 4 - Cartooning: Did you know many great detective series started as a comic book? Learn the basics of cartooning Dav Pilkey style (Dog Man and Captain Underpants) including drawing, storyboarding, flip-o-rama and more. Discover the cartoonist in you just waiting to be born.

Grades 3 & 4 - Ceramic/Clay Creations: Fingerprinting will be an everyday occurrence for art detectives in this “hands on class”! Join in the fun of discovering how clay transforms from squishy earth to a true creative treasure, and your unique style will be in each one.

Grades 5 & 6 – The Lost (soon to be found) Art of Pysanky: Even an amateur detective will quickly discover that eggs are not just for eating. Working with real chicken eggs, beeswax, candles and dyes we will explore the colorful world of Pysanky (Ukrainian Easter Eggs). No artistic skill or experience is necessary but fun and discovery are guaranteed.

ALL NEW! Grades 5 & 6 – Altered Art (Mixed Media Magic): This class is an art detectives dream. This is not your grandma's art! Find treasures in your junk drawer/box - broken bits and pieces of things, paper, clay, paint, washers, gear pieces, springs, string, old clockworks, old jewelry pieces, cardboard, and more. Put them all together and discover a masterpiece in the making!

Materials: Students should wear old clothes and/or bring a paint shirt to protect clothing. Some projects may be messy!


Creative Craftsmanship detectives/artists are not limited to one medium or genre, but get to create in a variety of unique and unexpected ways! From fun, exploratory crafts in Crafty Combos to challenging and unique projects in Woodworking, in this track students see the creative genius of God while developing the unique, hands on skills he gave them.

Grades 1 & 2 – Crafty Combos: Detective friends in this exciting World of Discovery include Paper, Water, Paint, Glue, Scissors, Markers, Crayons, Tape, and Pencils. Join these “characters” and more as detectives of light and creative expression. The possibilities are endless and oh so fun!

ALL NEW! Grades 1 & 2 – The Garden of Light (Garden Art): Clues to God’s world are everywhere and this class will follow them all. You’ll learn about plants and light, develop and plant your own plot of earth that you can revisit, create individual take home garden art like strawberry pots, and collaborate on ladybug houses and a garden painting pallet.

Grades 3 & 4 - Eco Art: Join us in unearthing the amazing art lurking in your recycling bin! Use your detective skills to uncover the secrets of reusing and repurposing everyday objects into your very own masterpieces. Imagination, creativity, and curiosity are the key to unlocking the mysteries of EcoArt!

Grades 5 &6 – Woodworking: Following clues, transform raw pieces of wood into beautiful and useful creations. As woodworkers, we’ll learn how to use both hand tools and power tools to craft projects we’ll be proud to use and display.

Grades 5 & 6 – Dream House Hide-out: Every detective needs a hide-out to regroup and strategize. In this class, you’ll design and build your own miniature hide-out dream house. Exploring influential architects and basic architectural principals, and then applying these concepts in the design of a dream house are all part of the fun. You’ll draw a floor plan, elevation and create a scaled model of a dream house of your design. Batman will be jealous!

Materials: Students should wear old clothes and/or bring a paint shirt to protect clothing. Some projects may be messy!


Culinary detectives will explore and discover how cooking can be one of the world’s tastiest art forms. Students in this track will learn some basic food vocabulary, safety in the kitchen, experiment with tools of the trade, and have hands on experience in creating culinary delights.

Grades 1 & 2 – Edible Art: Put your detective skills to the test as you seek to discover the tastes, textures, and colors of the food all around us. Join us as we uncover how we can make art out of what we eat.

Grades 3 & 4 – Dessert First: Become an official dessert P.I! Journey with us as we seek to unveil the three tastiest Cs of culinary - candy, cookies, and cupcakes!

Grades 5 & 6 – Master Chefs: Come with us as we discover the mysteries of cooking in an industrial kitchen, uncover top chefs’ secrets, and explore new dishes that you won’t be able to wait to taste.

Materials: Closed toe shoes and long pants are required in the kitchen. Hair should be pulled up or back for all classes.
