Revelation study event

Women's Tuesday Morning Bible Study - Revelation

January 23rd - April 10th, 2018

The New Testament book of Revelation is perhaps the most challenging and yet inspiring book of the Bible to read and understand - one that often leaves us with more questions than answers. Join us as we embark on a riveting study of this book of warning and encouragement, mystery and intrigue, cataclysmic events in the war between good and evil, prophecy and astounding imagery. In the process, you'll discover a beautiful thread that runs through the entire book.

Faith foundations

Faith Foundations

January 28th, 2018

Faith Foundations is a 12 week class designed to help students, 4th-6th grade, explore the core beliefs of the Christian faith and begin to claim these beliefs as their own. Students who are ready to take more responsibility in their spiritual journey are invited to be a part of this class. Parents will need to walk alongside their children on this adventure and commitment and to be a part of the process is crucial. Classes begin January 28th, during the 11AM service in classroom 206. (Regular Children’s Programming, Nursery-8th grade, will still be offered during both the 9AM & 11AM service.)

There will be a Parent meeting on Sunday, January 21st, in room 206 to discuss what is involved.

UNDERSTANDING PEOPLE: An Experiential Exploration of the Enneagram

February 2nd - February 3rd, 2018

The Enneagram is a profound tool for those interested in increasing self awareness, growing in compassion and deepening understanding of self and others. Based in ancient wisdom traditions, the Enneagram provides a map that points to very specific ways our unique combination of personality patterns help or hinder us in fully expressing our truest self.

Integrating contemporary findings from neurobiology, this workshop will help you better understand:

  • What are our deepest motivations?
  • Why do we think, feel and act the ways we do?
  • What are some ways we can be more open to transformative experiences for our heart, mind and body?
  • How can the Enneagram help us in our most important relationships?

Put on by Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Evey DeRoos (MFC #45848), the material in this workshop is especially welcoming for all interested persons, regardless of spiritual orientation, and honors the amazing diversity of our humanity. Whether you are new to the Enneagram or have some familiarity, please join us! Your presence and perspective on the world matters!

For those interested in the Enneagram and spirituality, an optional hour session from 4:00-5:00pm on Saturday is offered for spiritual applications and questions.

Lunch will be provided, so when prompted, please let us know if you need a vegetarian option. All proceeds that are beyond the cost of food and materials will be donated to the International Refugee Committee
